Him

Do you miss him? The mischief in his eyes, the occasional gel in his hair, the wrinkle on his forehead when he was working on something, how he overreacted when you ate without him and how his hands would always be warm. It's funny how we notice little details of our favorite person. When that person leaves, all we have are those memories. What to do with it? We can't erase it but eventually, it does fade away. But then you see that one thing, it could be an old shirt or the corner of your home where you two would sit together and chat about your day, just one glance is all it takes for those memories to come gushing back. Once again, you remember everything like yesterday, the musky cologne, the husky voice, the taste of his lips and the feel of his arms. The memories never left, he did.
